On Sunday, a minor girl’s burnt body was recovered from a trash heap on an empty plot in Karachi’s Old Sabzi Mandi area. The five-year-old victim of suspected rape and mutilation, Marwah, was reported missing from the same place two days before her lifeless body was found.
PIB police station Station House Officer (SHO), Shakir Husain, said:
The five-year-old victim, Marwah, had been kidnapped and raped before being murdered and torched.
