Australian Treasurer Josh Frydenberg announced that Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg had told him the ban would end in the approaching days after the pair talked. Josh Frydenberg said that changes would be made to the law.
He told the social media on Tuesday, “Facebook has re friended Australia.”
Facebook said that it had been reassured by recent talks with the govt .
Campbell Brown, vice chairman of worldwide news partnerships at Facebook, said, “Going forward, the govt has clarified we’ll retain the power to make a decision if news appears on Facebook in order that we won’t automatically be subject to forced negotiation,”

“We have come to an agreement which will allow us to support the publishers we elect to, including small and native publishers.”
The Australian government has encouraged Facebook to barter in straightness with media companies.
